Children of mixed marriages do face problems

I WOULD like to refer to the letter ‘A mistake to frown upon mixed marriages ‘’ (The Star, March, 9.)

I can’t agree with the writer in using Tiger Woods, Halle Barry and Barack Obama for comparison, stating that their success comes from a product of mixed marriages.

Please don’t forget that the three persons come from the strongest country in the world.

That said, I would like to congratulate Datuk Nicol David, one of our most successful sportswomen in the world who is of mixed parentage as well.

The writer said he couldn’t agree with Datuk Seri Rais Yatim that children from mixed marriages face unique problems. He said it was a myth. How would he know if he is not a product of a mixed marriage himself?
